Ho, ho, ho

So, it’s Xmas again!!!!

When I was a kid, I admit… I used to count the days till Xmas eve. There wasnt anything more fun than openin all the presents, the gifts, and having dinner with my family, aunts, cousins, grampa and grandma.

Oh, and the lights.. I just loooooooove those tiny little lamps, hangin on the walls, on the windows, and everywhere.. My grampa used to light up all the house. We also had the perfect tree, every year. He used to made us sing, and sing, sing, Xmas songs, to wait for Santa. So we stood there, tired, and hungry, singin outside the house, watchin those tiny lamps, shining everywhere… Then he ran into the house, put his Santa clothes, sit on his Santa´s chair, and started to shout out loud “Ho, Ho, Ho”… and we ran into the house!

Wish I could go back there, for a second, to just look at his eyes, and say: “Thank you grampa, u´re the greatest one.. thanks for being Santa, for cooking us some delicious food, for making us stand here, all night singing… because this moment, is what im gonna remember years after”.

But, because I was a kid, all my attention was to those huge boxes, hoping that the biggest one was mine too.

Anyway… it’s Xmas. And I didn’t wanted to wishyou all the same things everyone wishes everyone. My wish is that you feel loved by God this Xmas.

If you never had huge boxes, and Xmas songs, or delicious meal, and the most loooooooving grampa ever (!) to light up all the house for you… it doesnt matter. Xmas isnt about any of those things.

Xmas is all about Jesus, all about our God! Its all about love, and the way He cares about us. It’s the day we celebrate His love for us. Tough we know that the Bible doesnt mention the exact day that Jesus was born. But Xmas is the day we celebrate his life. Cause our God is alive, the only one who conquered death. And because of that, we can live.

So, my wish is that you feel extremely loved this year. May you feel the love of God covering your life, and that you never ever feel lonely and alone anymore. Because you have a father, a daddy, who loves you so so much, and He has big boxes for your life. Trust this.
